CAD Technician

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform earthwork volumetric computations.
• Develop plans and calculate material takeoffs in Civil 3D.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation.
• Aggressively seek out opportunities to provide support as a value‑added member of the team.
• Ensure CAD standards and procedures are followed for all drawings and calculations.
• Work closely and collaborate with the Estimating Team.
• Any other duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience in current civil construction methods.
• Remote Piloted Aircraft System experience would be considered an asset.
• Ability to interpret Geotechnical Reports.
