DUR LB – Broker Claims Administrator

Reference: DUR -LB-1

Purpose of the job:
To engage with external customer’s brokers and suppliers with regards to tracking and processing of insurance claims & other related administration.

Required Qualifications: Matric/Grade 12 with Mathematics. Minimum of 120 FAIS credits or a NQF 5 qualification in Short Term Insurance. Minimum of 5 years’ short term (domestic and commercial lines) claims experience essential. RE5 advantageous. Duties & Responsibilities

Technical Competencies and responsibilities: Assessing short term claims received. Appointment of assessors/loss adjusters. Authorization of claims maintaining a good working relationship with all the external service providers. Panel beater authorizations for approved motor claims.
