About the Role

The ACVV , an established and respected Non-Profit Organisation in the social services field, has a proud heritage of 122 years. The Cape Town head office currently requires the services of a Bookkeeper.

Main responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping life-cycle (up to financial statements)
  • Creditors & debtors administration, invoices, payments and reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assist with audit preparation
  • Assistance with weekly and monthly financial reporting
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve financial issues timeously
  • General financial and administrative duties
  • Vehicle-fleet administration

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Financial Diploma)
  • At least 3 years’ relevant experience
  • Strong numerical and accounting skills
  • Advanced computer literacy (MS Office & Pastel)
