The Product Development Engineer will play a key role in advancing innovative medical technologies within Mount Sinai BioDesign. The engineer will contribute to device design, prototyping, and testing while also engaging directly with clinicians to identify unmet needs through the Biodesign process. Responsibilities
  • Participate in surgeon and clinician interviews to identify clinical pain points and translate insights into engineering requirements.
  • Assist in the design and development of medical device prototypes using CAD tools, 3D printing, machining, and other prototyping methods.
  • Conduct bench testing and validation studies to characterize device performance.
