Behaviour Support Co-ordinator

Responsibilities

As Behaviour Support Co‑ordinator, you will work closely with students who need consistent, skilled support to succeed. You will take a proactive, restorative approach, helping young people understand and improve their behaviour while maintaining high expectations and strong boundaries.

You will support individuals and groups, liaise with staff and families, and help create a calm, purposeful learning environment where all students can thrive.

Qualifications and Skills

You will bring strong behaviour management skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to de‑escalate challenging situations confidently and compassionately. Experience of working with young people in a school or pastoral setting is essential, and your resilience and professionalism will ensure consistency and fairness. A strong communicator who can work as part of a team and make sound decisions under pressure is required.
