Responsibilities

• Battery system design & engineering: define technical specifications for BESS at charging stations, including sizing, topology, safety, monitoring, and integration with chargers and the grid. Challenge supplier proposals to optimise performance, reliability, and cost of ownership. Build and maintain the reference design that can be replicated across markets.
• Deployment & commissioning: own the technical side of every battery rollout from site assessment to installation, commissioning, handover to operations. Adapt the rollout playbook to local constraints (grid codes, regulation, partners, installers) across five countries. Serve as the technical interface with DSOs, EPC partners, and local installers.
