Band 5 Clinical Pharmacy Technician - Discharge Lounge

Job Summary

An excellent development opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacy technician to join our diverse team as a Clinical Pharmacy Technician supporting the Discharge Lounge. In this role you will work closely with staff and patients to assist a timely discharge from hospital and coordinate with the discharge lounge, ward and pharmacy teams to ensure the timely supply of TTO medication. This unique role requires a self‑motivated, highly organised individual with strong team‑working skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. Evening, weekend and bank holiday shifts will be required on a rotational basis within the pharmacy department.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy department in providing complete pharmaceutical care to patients.
• Deliver a high‑quality service to the discharge lounge.
• Act as a role model and provide training and mentoring to junior staff members.
