About the Role
Octolade is looking for a Backend Engineer to join our remote team and help us build scalable backend systems and AI-powered features. Role: Backend Engineer (FastAPI) Location:
Remote Working Hours:
4:00 PM – 1:00 AM (PKT) Salary:
PKR 60,000 – 80,000 What you’ll work on:
Designing and building backend services using FastAPI (Python)
Developing and maintaining RESTful APIs
Working with databases and optimizing performance
Integrating AI features into backend systems
Supporting LLM-based features such as:
RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
Basic LLM integrations (OpenAI / similar APIs)
Prompt handling and API orchestration Requirements:
Strong experience with Python and FastAPI
Understanding of backend architecture and APIs
Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
Basic knowledge of AI/LLMs (RAG concepts, API usage, embeddings, etc.)
