Automation Engineer

Description

Our client, a leading plastics company, is currently seeking an ambitious Automation Engineer to help lead their team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated candidate with a go-getter attitude and a drive to succeed. Responsibilities include:

1) Provide technical expertise for mechanical, electrical and programmable logic controllers

2) Initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control automation project

3) Evaluate, troubleshoot, analyze and determine process improvements

4) Coordinate and communicate between various areas and train staff, as needed

5) Prepare a plan to re-design and present such design ideas and changes for approval along with estimated costs of such projects

6) Work with the Engineering Team on all new tool designs to prepare new mold EOAT for part removal and associated tooling
