About the Role
**Waste Connections is Hiring a Automated Side Load in Miami FL!**
**PAY:** $23-$25/hr DOE, working 50-55 hours a week.
A typical schedule is **Monday – Friday** , with occasional Saturdays as needed. The workweek is approximately 50-55 hours.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Safely operate a **Automated Side Load garbage truck** on specified routes to collect commercial solid waste.
+ Ensure accurate and timely collection and disposal of waste by operating hydraulic systems to empty containers.
+ Interact courteously with customers while performing the job.
+ Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working order.
+ Ensure safety protocols are followed during collection and disposal.
+ Perform a physically demanding job, including loading and unloading waste from front-load containers.
+ Maintain cleanliness of the truck and work area.
