Authorization Coordinator (Medical Insurance / Workers’ Compensation) (Zona Urbana Rio Tijuana)

We are seeking an Authorization Coordinator to support our clinical and administrative teams in the Workers’ Compensation field. This role is responsible for managing Requests for Authorization (RFAs) from start to finish, ensuring that all medical treatment requests are accurately prepared, submitted, tracked, and documented within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.

• Prepare and submit Requests for Authorization (RFAs) for medical treatment and services.
• Monitor and track the status of all submitted RFAs to ensure timely responses.
• Follow up with adjusters, medical offices, and other stakeholders when additional information is required.
• Document all actions and updates clearly and accurately within the EMR system.
• Review and process determinations (approvals, partial approvals, denials) and ensure that providers and internal teams are informed.
