About the job Audio Visual Service Technician Beacon Communications is seeking a highly experienced Biamp Vocia Systems Technician to support service, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and SMA obligations for large-scale, enterprise-level Vocia paging and life-safety systems. The salary range for this role is between $30.00/hour - $45.00/hour, commensurate on relevant education, experience, and other factors. This role also includes Audio Visual (AV) service and SMA support for integrated AV control, DSP, and audio systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and optimization of Crestron, QSC Q-SYS, and AMX platforms deployed in government and enterprise environments. This role is not entry-level. It requires deep, hands-on expertise with Biamp Vocia architecture, including distributed networks, redundant controllers, life-safety paging, emergency logic, zone routing, monitoring, and system health management.
