Attendance Officer

Rise Academy are seeking to appoint an Attendance Officer on a temporary fixed term contract. The post holder will work within a specialist engagement team (Learning & Engagement) to help the school to raise achievement by improving school attendance and punctuality and to meet our attendance targets. The practitioner will be involved with the promotion of positive attitudes by pupils and their families towards education and ensuring that parents are made fully aware of their statutory responsibilities, particularly where there is persistent absence. In this role you will make unsupervised home visits and attends meeting both at school and off site.

Salary: Grade 4, Point 5 £25,583 - Point 7 £26,403 pro rata for 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday term time plus five additional training days (39 weeks per year). This is a temporary fixed term appointment.
