Blackwood Comprehensive School is looking to recruit an Attendance Officer to join our pastoral team as soon as possible. This is a varied role with the purpose of supporting and promoting good attendance of pupils and is a permanent contract.

We are seeking a candidate who has the necessary experience and skills to establish strong and positive working relationships with parents/carers, the Local Authority Education Welfare Service and our school Family and Community Engagement (FaCE) Officer, in order to build on continued improvements in pupil attendance. The post holder will have sound ICT skills and will support the pastoral team in the development, implementation and monitoring of effective systems and strategies relating to attendance.
