Overview

We are partnering with
a leading global financial institution to hire a Surveillance
Calibration Specialist to join theirpliance function. This is a
highly technical role focused on optimising trade surveillance models,
improving alert quality, and enhancing detection frameworks through data-led
calibration and validation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration and re-calibration of trade surveillance scenarios, adjusting thresholds and parameters to improve alert effectiveness
  • Conduct validation and effectiveness reviews of surveillance models, ensuring adequate regulatory and risk coverage
  • Analyse alert outputs to identify opportunities for false positive reduction and optimisation
