About the Role
**Job Description**
The Associate Director demonstrates infection prevention and control (IPC) knowledge and expertise. They are responsible for the management of the IPC department, providing guidance, direction, and oversight of all activities within the team. They facilitate the achievement and sustainment of IPC targets, serve as a mentor to infection preventionists (IPs) and a resource to senior leadership, Medical Staff, Nursing, and other Hospital and Health System personnel. They collaborate to address gaps and opportunities, and assist with the development of the interventions to ensure success in achieving IPC department and organizational goals.
