Associate Director Accounting

The position

As Associate Director – Accounting, you will set the direction for the Record to Report (R2R) process within our Global Business Services (GBS) organisation, partnering closely with the Global Process Owner (GPO) to define a clear vision and strategy. You will lead a talented team, drive operational excellence and champion the digital transformation of our accounting function.Day-to-day your responsibilities will include:Overseeing the Record to Report process and month-end close activities, ensuring timely, accurate and efficient financial reporting within the GBS frameworkMaintaining and strengthening compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, the Minimum Controls framework and internal financial reporting standards across GBS operationsActing as the primary point of contact for external auditors – facilitating audits, coordinating documentation and building strong, transparent relationshipsLeading, coaching and developing the R2R GBS accounting team, fosteri...
