About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Underwriter to work within a leading Professional Liability team and help underwrite a diverse portfolio of US-focused professional risks.

You’ll be working within a highly innovative team, across SME, mid-market, and larger accounts, with exposure to multi-class products including liability, cyber, and property.


What you’ll do:

  • Underwrite new business and renewals

  • Respond to broker enquiries and deliver quotes within SLA

  • Build and maintain strong broker relationships

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities

  • Contribute to team initiatives and market activity

    • What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in professional liability (E&O) underwriting or broking

  • Strong communication, numerical, and analytical skills

  • Commercial mindset with a proactive, sales approach

  • Interest in US risks (experience desirable, not essential)
