Assistant Teacher

Assistant Teacher is an important member of the AISM teaching team, and plays a critical role in ensuring all students are able to access our outstanding academic and co‑curricular programs. The Assistant Teacher generally assists teachers to meet the range of needs of students but will be called upon to teach small and large groups of students independently as required. This position reports to the Deputy Head of School, however, this responsibility may be delegated to another senior staff member for day to day matters.

Key Result Areas / Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff to support student learning.
• Work with individual students and small groups within the classroom under the direction of Homeroom or Specialist teachers.
