Assistant Retail Manager

Job Overview

As the Assistant Manager you will be supporting the manager in the day to day running of all areas of the business. This will include receiving donations, organising collections from private houses and other locations, processing and delivering items to local shops, selling on premises or redistributing, and managing a repair and reuse service to divert unwanted goods away from landfill.

Responsibilities

The role is very hands‑on and you will respond to queries raised by customers, head office and the team. You will also be responsible for opening and closing the centre, and for recruiting and training volunteers and staff.
