Job Description
Candidate will have strong communication skills; coordinate information related to any construction activity disruptions, “shutdowns” and other tasks that affect ongoing MIT LL Laboratory Operations. This includes supporting efforts to mass communication with all affected lab personnel, efforts to micro communicate to specific divisions, groups, and tenants as to disruptions caused by scheduled construction activities.
Provide oversight of daily field operations and construction progress while ensuring proper construction site safety and quality control standards are met.
Provide oversight of construction contractors to ensure the scope is completed according to plans and specifications and meets all applicable standards and codes.
Develop comprehensive understanding of project strategy and commitments including scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones, and inspections.
