Assistant or Associate Professor (10), Exercise and Nutrition Sciences

Position Summary

The department of within the School of Public Health and Health Professions invites applicants for a full-time, 10-month Assistant or Associate Professor position for Exercise Science. This is a tenure track position to begin in August 2026. Applicants conducting research in the areas of environmental physiology, respiratory physiology, and cardiovascular physiology are particularly desired, but all relevant fields will be considered. The ideal candidate will establish a line of research that will complement and/or build off current strengths of the School.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain an externally funded research program.

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Exercise Science.

Mentor undergraduate and graduate students as well as participate in service activities (., Department, School, University, and Professional Organizations)
