Assistant Operation Manager

Responsibilities:
This role is mainly in charge of managing the maintenance/repair of vehicles, compactors/bins, equipment and machineries as well as the back office support. This role will also be the backup for the Operations Manager
Back end office support
Effectively manage the work allocation for the back office support Manage and coordinate the deployment of the back office support with other departments in charge
Purchasing and Budgeting Cost Control
Source, compare and engage contractors/vendor/supplier for Engineering department (eg: tyres, spare parts, repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipments, bin inspection, for welding etc) Work with Purchasing department on vendor sourcing In charge of submitting quotations and invoices for approval Review quotations carefully, make comparison before making decision on the choice of vendor/service to use/goods to buy.
