Assistant Merchandiser (Japanese Speaking)

Company Introduction

Our client is a leading Japanese multinational group with a strong presence in textiles, apparel supply chain management, and international trading. With decades of history in Hong Kong, the company serves as a regional hub, coordinating production and merchandising activities across Asia.

Responsibilities

• Assist merchandising team in daily operations, including order follow-up, sample arrangement, and production tracking
• Negotiate pricing and prepare costings with vendors
• Communicate with suppliers and clients to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery
• Coordinate with suppliers to track and monitor production schedules
• Conduct factory visits and perform quality inspections to maintain standards
• Business trip to APAC is required (Once per month or less)

Requirements

• Diploma or above, preferably in Textile, Business, or related disciplines
