Job Description
- Responsible for building and maintaining the hospital’s cost accounting – the prices of patient billable service, packages and procedures in the hospital information system.
- Maintain and update procedure charge codes, packages, and dictionaries; communicate changes to relevant departments.
- Perform regular reviews of existing pricing and costing to ensure alignment with business objectives and profitability targets.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to develop and maintain standard costs and cost drivers for hospital services.
- Conduct comprehensive pricing and costing analysis, including pricing trends, and resource utilization (e.g., space, equipment).
- Analyse pricing effectiveness vs business plans, ensure proposed pricing meets target margins.
