Major Duties

: (a) To perform teaching duties, and assist in supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; (b) To assist in the coordination and promotion of local and regional skills competitions, and support the training and coaching of Competitors, including reviewing their performance and providing recommendations; (c) To liaise with industry partners to provide performance assessment and training support for Competitors; (d) To assist in the development of programme curriculum and preparation of teaching, learning and assessment materials; (e) To support student and academic administration, and coordinate promotional activities related to skills and VPET in secondary schools and relevant organisations; and (f) To provide support in departmental activities, projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions, and participate in industrial attachments and related activities.
