About the Role
**_What the Legal Department contributes to Cardinal Health_**
The Legal Department is responsible for providing legal advice, counsel and related services to Cardinal Health’s business units. The Legal team drafts and negotiates contracts, participates in and provides input on business strategy and legal risks, receives and refers matters to Regulatory and Compliance Departments’ subject matter experts and manages those matters to conclusion and otherwise acts as the primary legal counsel for the business unit clients.
The corporate legal team provides the company with strategic, proactive, practical and cost-effective legal advice and services in order to enable the company to effect its business strategies and protect the organization's assets, operations and reputation.
