Description

The Application Support role is responsible for ensuring the stability and continuity of an AS400-based billing system through proactive operations monitoring, incident management, and continuous improvement.

Skills

  • Strong experience with IBM i (AS400/iSeries) billing platform and operations
  • Proficiency in CL (Control Language), RPG (RPGLE/ILE RPG) for troubleshooting and analysis
  • Hands-on experience with batch job processing, job scheduling, and job queue management
  • Able to perform data fixes, file maintenance, and system-level debugging
  • Exposure to automation scripting, monitoring tools, and batch recovery strategies
  • Deep understanding of manual handling, job logs, spool files, and system messages
