Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development and maintenance of AS400 applications using RPG, RPGLE, and COBOL400
  • Provide technical guidance and conduct code reviews
  • Manage and optimize DB2 databases on AS400
  • Work with business stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions
  • Ensure application performance, security, and regulatory compliance
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support system enhancements
  • Maintain technical documentation

Requirements

  • Strong experience in AS400 / IBM i
  • Proficiency in COBOL, CL, and DB2/400
  • Experience with batch processing and online programs
  • Ability to troubleshoot and support production issues.
  • Exposure to banking, insurance, or financial services systems
  • Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies
