Meeting with clients and other involved professionals at an early stage to agree on the project brief
Developing project briefs and working on these as the project progresses
Preparing planning applications and other regulatory application procedures
Preparing design proposals using computer-aided design (CAD) and traditional drawing methods
Assisting in the detailed design process and co-ordinating design information
Preparing/updating tender documentation and construction drawings
Liaising with appropriate authorities (e.g. Planning enquiries and technical officers) to obtain statutory approval
Attending site visits and recording minutes/discussions
Assisting project architect in coordinating site issues
