Application Support Specialist

Leads the maintenance and support of in-house applications or specialized utility programs. Executes first level support to vendor applications. Supports other activities assigned under ADMD.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs unit testing to ensure correctness of the program codes, fixing (debugging) errors where they occur, rerunning and rechecking the program until it produces the correct results prior endorsement for QA and/or UA testing.
• Provides technical support on application related requirements and queries. Collaborates with business analysts, project managers, system owners and business users in the testing of program fixes; Provides QAT and UAT support by addressing test findings on time; Provides technical support during implementation and post-implementation of program fixes.
