Antenatal Ward Midwife Practice Lead

Job overview

The purpose of this role is to lead, support and coordinate the day to day running of the antenatal ward midwifery services, and to play a key role in the development of these services. 

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality, woman centred antenatal care in midwifery services, through the provision of clinical expertise, professional direction and leadership.

The post holder will be responsible for monitoring the maternity pathways within the ward and will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement and leading on the implementation of improvement plans.
