Anesthesia Technician Operating Room:
Assesses patient specific needs preoperatively i.e., resistant organisms, latex allergy, age specific and communicates with the surgical services team members regarding relevant patient and procedure data.Communication and Teamwork.Meets with anesthesiologists to identify needs of the department.Meets with vendors to identify equipment /supplies needed for the department.Assists in capital budget process. § Communicates with the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) regarding necessary changes, supplies/instrumentation needs.Communicates conflicts in the OR schedule to the Chief Anesthesiologist/designee.Coordinates special procedures with SPD. § Instructs staff regarding proper usage of and handling of anesthesia equipment.Assists with staff Scheduling/coordinates coverage.Demonstration of leadership.Customer relations and healing env...
