# About You
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience: **Essential criteria** 1. Substantial experience of working in a relevant volunteer or alumni engagement role, for example within higher education, a membership organisation or charity
2. Excellent relationship building skills, with experience of working with stakeholders of different backgrounds. and the ability to bring together stakeholders to achieve results
3. Experience working with volunteers, developing volunteer programmes for mass and bespoke engagement, with knowledge of best practice volunteer management
4. Able to set objectives, achieve ambitious KPIs and robustly evaluate activities against their stated aims and budgets
5. Ability and fortitude to adapt plans and recommend changes where necessary to achieve strategic aims
