Job Duties

• Installing, modifying, and maintaining aircraft sheet metal and composite components
• Fabricating, assembling, and reworking structural parts
• Using precision measuring tools
• Performing inspections and maintaining accurate documentation
• Blueprint reading

Job requirements

• 3+ years of heavy aviation structures / sheet metal mechanic experience
• Demonstrate skill level by successfully passing a plate test
• Structural assembly, preferably on fixed wing aircraft
• Able to use a variety of fabrication hand tools and precision measuring instruments to make standard shop computations
• Able to work from blueprints, sketches, work instructions
• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to read, write, and speak English fluently
