Summary This position serves as an Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic within the Facilities Management Service at the VA Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. The Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance and repairing all HVAC & R systems (heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration) equipment and controls. Responsibilities DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY: This position is being filled using Direct-Hire Authority (5 CFR 337.201) for this occupation.
