The Rigger A properly fastens loads to prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools in order to meet industry & company regulated rules, policies and procedures. The Rigger A attaches pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures such as beams, using bolts and clamps, and controls movement of heavy equipment. The Rigger A holds a 3rd party accredited certification (NCCER/NCCCO) and reports to the Dispatcher or Project Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Inspect rigging to ensure safety and reliability before engaging in hoisting or lifting
• Aligns, levels and anchors cranes and equipment
• Identify lift points
