Summary The Cardiology Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) - Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) serves within the National CARDIO-VET Network, delivering a comprehensive range of cardiology care aligned with the mission of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The APN provides advanced clinical practice, expert consultation, and ongoing patient management while ensuring high-quality, timely, and Veteran-centered services. Responsibilities Major duties and responsibilities of the position VN-0610-II and VN-0610-III include but not limited to: Independently manages a panel of patients with cardiovascular conditions with an emphasis on cardiovascular disease management using evidence-based practice.
