About the Role
Become a Registered Cardiology Technologist with Nova Scotia Health in Eastern Zone, Cape Breton. Perform vital cardiac tests such as ECGs and stress testing while mentoring new team members.
This permanent full-time role involves conducting noninvasive cardiac diagnostics, including Holter monitoring and exercise tolerance testing. With responsibilities under a supervising cardiologist, you'll also prepare patients for various tests and train new learners. Flexibility and strong clinical skills in fast-paced environments are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ECGs, Holter monitoring, and stress tests
• Prepare patients for ambulatory monitoring and other tests
• Mentor new learners in the department
• Adapt to flexible workloads and stressful situations
• Travel to other sites as required
Requirements:
• Completion of Cardiology Technology program or equivalent
• Current registration with Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists
