Admin Assistant - Cassandra

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain DSE Cassandra database clusters.
Monitor database performance and proactively tune the system for optimal performance and scalability.
Set up and manage replication, backup, and recovery processes.

Ensure data integrity, security, and availability of the Cassandra environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues including performance bottlenecks and outages.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to provide database support for applications.
Develop and maintain automation scripts for database operations using tools like Ansible, Shell, or Python.
Create and maintain documentation related to Cassandra architecture, configurations, and procedures.
Plan capacity and assist in designing highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems.
