Activity Worker

We are a nationwide charity providing support and care to older people in the vibrant Borough of Bromley.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate a stimulating and relevant range of activities for clients.
• Work collaboratively to ensure activities meet clients’ goals, improve wellbeing and enhance social inclusion.
• Provide guidance and support to clients during activity sessions.
• Plan and organise sessions to meet clients’ needs.
• Work with independent initiative and enjoy working in a team environment.
• Assess flexibility to work on some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications & skills

• Proactive, creative, patient and warm disposition.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in team.
• Knowledge of the local community in Bromley is advantageous.
