Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support day-to-day receivables operations for a long-term contract opportunity based in Midlothian, Virginia. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with financial data, and confident managing billing, payment posting, and account follow-up activities. The position requires strong attention to detail, solid Excel skills, and hands-on experience using Sage to help maintain accurate records and steady cash flow.

Responsibilities:
• Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner while ensuring billing records remain current and complete.
• Apply incoming payments to the correct accounts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain precise cash application details.
