Accounts Manager (Part Qualified)
This role provides financial oversight and management accounting support for a portfolio of convenience retail clients.
Core Responsibilities
Management Accounts: Assist with monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and department-specific cost allocations.Retail Reconciliations: Oversight of high-volume cash, credit card, and third-party delivery platform (e.g., Deliveroo, UberEats) reconciliations.Margin & Wastage: Analyze Gross Profit (GP) margins by category and investigate shrinkage or pricing discrepancies.VAT Compliance: Manage VAT returns with a focus on food-related zero-rating and standard-rating complexities.Audit & Reporting: Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and provide data for year-end audits.Candidate Requirements
