Accountant

Our client, a nonprofit organization, is seeking an experienced Accountant Consultant to support their accounting team on a fully remote basis. This consultant will be responsible for a broad range of accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Cost Accounting, and general ledger support. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Process payroll and ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations
• Perform cost accounting analysis and monitor program and departmental expenses
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
