Accountant

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

:
This purpose of this job is to serve as a role in an accounting function. The job will be responsible for and/or execute key accounting processes. The job will also entail leading system and/or process improvement initiatives as well as being required to communicate financial or project related results. The assignments will vary from one incumbent to another but will require leadership and strong analytical skills by efficiently using knowledge of tools and business processes to identify problems and resolve issues.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs assignments requiring understanding and application and review of accounting principles, practices, and concepts (i.e. preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, etc.).

Accepts ownership of business processes and associated controls.

Provides customer service to internal and external customers.
