Accountant / Finance controller (Specialist JV)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of JV Accountant/ Finance Controller (JV Specialist) to be based in our Client’s office in Kuala Lumpur.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

JV Accounting & Financial Management

- Perform accurate and timely accounting of JV financial transactions, including cost allocations, intercompany balances, and year-end adjustments.

- Perform sales transaction, invoicing and ensure tax compliance

- Review and process Joint Interest Billings (JIBs), Cash Calls, Cost Statements, and Authorization for Expenditures (AFEs).

- Monitor JV expenditures against approved Work Programs & Budgets and highlight variances.

- Support cost control, financial tracking, and preparation of monthly JV reports for Head Office.

- Any other acounting tasks assigned by KUFPEC.
