2x Life Insurance Claims Specialist

Sharp & Carter are partnering with a global organisation to recruit 2x Life Insurance Claims Specialist for a 12 -month contract based in Sydney CBD.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical capability across TPD and Income Protection claims. You will step into a live portfolio and manage claims end-to-end with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage an end-to-end portfolio of 40–50 TPD & IP claims
• Assess and determine claims in line with policy, legislation, and guidelines
• Review and interpret medical, financial, and employment evidence
• Liaise with claimants, medical professionals, employers, and stakeholders
• Deliver accurate, well-reasoned, and compliant claim decisions

About You:

• Minimum 1 year life insurance claims experience 
• Hands-on IP and/or TPD assessment experience with delegated authority
