Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the 2nd in command of the vessel, reporting directly to the Master
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel at all times
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all vessel systems and equipment, including DP systems
• Act as the designated Dynamic Positioning Operator (DPO) for the vessel, ensuring safe and accurate positioning at all times
• Monitor and maintain the vessel's stability and trim, taking corrective action as needed
• Oversee and assist with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of cargo and equipment
• Conduct regular safety drills and ensure all crew members are properly trained and familiar with emergency procedures
