About the Role
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Resistance, Chemotherapy and Predictive Biomarkers research group within the Cancer Area is seeking to recruit a senior laboratory technician. Previous experience in a similar role within a cancer research group is required, including experience with cell culture, genetic manipulation techniques (CRISPR/Cas9), in vitro cytotoxicity assays, qPCR, and western blotting. Knowledge of cancer immunology and participation in scientific publications will be considered a strong asset.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support for the group’s research activities
- Contribute to the writing of experimental protocols
- Represent the team in lab management meetings
- Prepare reports on research results.
