ROLE AND PURPOSE:
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in higher education and society.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Master's degree in Spanish from an accredited university or
Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Spanish
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
Experience:
Knowledge of subjects assigned
Prior experience teaching dual credit or college credit courses (preferred)
General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
